We have a number of different options for psychological testing. The level of testing is based on the purpose for the referral (i.e. the question being asked) and the intensity of testing.
This testing is generally used for treatment planning purposes by therapists. It may be used over the course of therapy to determine the best treatment options and plan. Generally, this does not produce any kind of report. Price: $250
This type of assessment is used to obtain specific diagnoses such as ADHD. It involves a clinical interview, specific diagnostic testing, a follow-up interview and a brief write-up. Price: $350
This type of assessment is used to determine overall mental health functioning. This is used for a variety of reasons (i.e. workplace functioning) whenever a person’s psychological functioning is in question. Price: $650
This type of assessment is used to identify specific learning disorders (i.e. dyslexia), academic problems and/or cognitive functioning. It involves not only identification of the learning disorder, but also ruling-out competing diagnoses or compounding problems (i.e. depression). Price: $650
This type of assessment is specifically used to identify or rule-out the presence of an autism-spectrum disorder such as Autism or Asperger’s disorder. The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Interview—Revised (ADI-R) are used. Price: $1,000
These types of evaluations are typically court-ordered evaluations that are used to evaluate parenting skills or to determine best placement for a child. These evaluations normally evaluate the child, the parent or potential guardian, and their relationship. Price: $2,000 to $4,000 |
