Clinical Mental Health Counselor, INTERN

Nicole is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Utah Valley University and is set to graduate this coming spring in May 2023. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Utah Valley University. 
She has experience working with teenagers and adults, including individuals with special needs and behavioral challenges. Nicole provides care for children and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, stress management, and relationship problems. Her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)  which focuses on improving behavior and thought patterns and Multicultural Therapy which addresses the difficulties experienced through the perspective of one’s culture.
When she isn’t in the office, Nicole enjoys being out appreciating nature, cooking and baking, taking care of her plants, and spending time with family. If she could choose to be anywhere in the world, it would be relaxing on a beach in Hawaii, soaking up the sun.
